It's very hard to find stuff that's fitting for Memorial Day, without resorting to John Phillps Sousa (which I don't have handy anyway; besides, that's not really something for Memorial Day, anyway). But I think I've found a few songs that fit the notion of paying tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. I'm adding a few that really just fit my mood tonight, and I'm also doing some classical music that really doesn't have anything to do with Memorial Day, other than that I was reminded of this particular composer the other day and thought, "I really need to do something for him for this week's show"
