Happy Easter!

The last of our multi-week Easter series. As it turns out, we start with ANOTHER Bach piece. I think this can be forgiven because 1. Bach wrote so much music specifically for Easter, not all of which we are going to cover; 2. The one Bach piece we are hearing tonight is the easy choice to start an Easter show with, the Easter Oratorio; 3. We did celebrate his 325th birthday a few weeks ago.

Composer's name is listed where notable (i.e. Classical Performance, Jazz Performance).

For more information on any of the rock, pop and Jazz music featured on this program, I frequently utilize AllMusic , an excellent free database holding a huge plethora of information about music and the artists that make it.
